What you asked, what's running, what came out

4分で読めます著者:The Octuo team
One overview of what is running and what has finished (demo account, sample data)

It is Friday afternoon, a result you asked for on Tuesday has landed somewhere, and you cannot remember whether it is in a chat, a coding tool's session or a window you closed. With Octuo, what you asked for, what is running and what came out sit in one place, and your assistant can reach all of it too. You can look whenever you like, and whatever needs a decision from you comes to you.

What Octuo does at that moment

  • You give Octuo the goal once. It prepares the work, hands it to supported tools and agents such as Codex and Claude Code, carries the context they need and brings the results back to the conversation where you asked.
  • It follows each job while it runs and reports back when it is done, so you are not the one carrying updates from tool to tool. Progress is there whenever you want to check, in a dashboard, your sessions and an Attention inbox. Checking is optional, not a new chore.
  • Anything that needs your decision lands in Attention with the context attached. You step in for your own account sign-ins, payments and sensitive approvals that must be yours; Octuo handles the work around them.
  • Tasks carry forward across sessions, and your assistant can recall what you have said anywhere in your account, so a new conversation tomorrow can pick up today's job.
  • What helps is that the parts work together: the assistant that hands out a job is the one that follows it, carries its context from session to session and shows you where it stands.

Three examples

These are illustrative situations, not customer stories.

A research question that comes back to you

A founder asks for a short briefing on the accessibility requirements for a sign-up page, then goes back to other work. Octuo hands the research to a supported tool and follows it. The answer arrives in the same conversation where the question was asked, not in a session someone has to dig out later. If the tool needs a sign-in to the founder's own account, that step is theirs; the rest is Octuo's.

A glance instead of opening each tool

A freelancer handed off three things this week: a report draft, a spreadsheet to tidy and a bug in a side project. On Friday they open the overview and see what is still running and what has finished, instead of opening each tool in turn. Nothing prompted them to check; they looked because they wanted to know. A Friday review of everything you handed off is one way to use that view.

A decision that arrives with its context

A shop owner asks Octuo to draft a reply to a supplier and to update a restock list in the same afternoon. The reply needs a yes first, so it reaches Attention with the context attached: what was asked and what Octuo drafted. The owner approves it with one edit and goes back to the counter. Keeping a waiting-on-me list is the same idea on paper.

What it does not do

Octuo does not replace the tools you already use, and we do not say every tool is connected: it works with supported tools, through accounts you authorise. Nothing makes you watch either, because looking is optional. The overview shows what a job is doing and what came out, not full prompts or the model's internal reasoning.

FAQ

Do I have to move my tools or data into Octuo? No. Your tools stay where they are, under your own accounts and each service's terms. When Octuo hands work to a supported tool, it carries the context the task needs and does not import each vendor's own chat history. Credentials you store in the encrypted Secrets Vault stay there: the language model never sees the raw credentials.

How do I know what is running right now? Open the dashboard or your sessions and look. Octuo follows the work and reports back, so you do not have to check, but progress is there whenever you want it.

What reaches me, and what stays quiet? Anything that needs your decision lands in Attention, and you are told there when a job is done. Progress stays in the background until you look. We do not promise you will never be interrupted: a sign-in or an approval that must be yours will still reach you.
